Lazzaro Leads Scots Past Prosper

Nick Lazzaro posted a hat trick and Highland Park earned its first win of the season with a 5-2 victory over Prosper on Thursday in the AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League.

Robert Sours and James McCown also scored for the Scots (1-8), while Lazzaro, Sours, and Jordan Gachman tallied assists. Samuel Haynes contributed 18 saves in goal for HP.

The Scots will return to action against Plano East on Dec. 8 at Dr Pepper StarCenter in Richardson.
