Annual FashionCITED To Celebrate 12 Years

The 12th Annual FashionCITED benefiting Legal Hospice of Texas happens April 13 at the Old Red Museum of Dallas History and Culture, located at 100 South Houston Street.

Chaired by Francisco Flores, Cathy Garcia and Gary Walden, this event is themed Fashion on the Rocks, Shaken, Stirred and Styled and features a locally produced fashion show highlighting up and coming Dallas clothiers and designers.

Designers Confirmed as of February 7th are Francisco Flores, Cathy Preslar, Silk Threads by Ruby Bhandari, Haggar, La New Onda, Sweet Baby Vintage, Yomono, Raj Bhandari, Radkeem Sims, Kara Lackey, Misael Sepulveda, Keyla Garrido, Mario Gallegos, Rachel McCubbins, Bladi Duran, and Gina Tran.

FashionCITED was launched in summer 2006 by Francisco Flores in efforts to give back to LHT for “giving him his life back.” Each year this event has continued to grow with the support of local designers and the community.

Francisco Flores and his husband, Jeff Cook leaned on Legal Hospice when Jeff stopped receiving his retirement and benefits from his former employer. With the help of Legal Hospice, the former employer was required to make all back payments for lost pay and Jeff maintains his retirement pay through today. Legal Hospice of Texas is honored to be associated with Francisco Flores in launching FashionCITED and thanks him for untiring efforts in making it a reality.

Since 1989, Legal Hospice of Texas has been providing timely and compassionate legal services, at no cost, to low-income individuals with terminal illnesses or HIV disease.

Sponsorships and underwriting are available starting at $1,500. Individual tickets are $60. All underwriting opportunities and tickets are available through and can be purchased online at https://legalhospice.givezooks.com/events/fashion-cited-2018 or call the Foundation office at 214-521-3310.
