North Dallas Restaurant Dedicated to Cookie Dough Opens

You can now have your cookie dough and eat it too.

Edible cookie dough is now being served by the scoop at the northwest corner of Preston Road and Forest Lane.

The Dough Dough made a delicious debut over the weekend, serving up a dozen different types of dough, ranging in flavors from The Unicorn, a rainbow sugar cookie base with sprinkles, to something for the plant-based lovers; vegan chocolate chip.

The Dough Dough says its product is safe to eat thanks to pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour used to make the cookie dough treats. It’ll even keep for a few weeks in the refrigerator (yeah, you can buy it by the tube) and another few if you freeze it.

The Dough Dough is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
