Crime Reports June 18 – 24

SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: NOT A PIGGY BANK

We don’t know if it was a potential break-in or someone upset about their balance, but one unruly customer released a little rage on a North Dallas Bank and Trust drive-up ATM in the 12900 block of Preston Road around 1 p.m. June 22.

DALLAS

18 Monday

A vehicle parked overnight in the 8500 block of Edgemere Road was stolen before 8:34 a.m.

The side window of a vehicle parked outside a Walgreens in the 8300 block of Westchester Drive was shattered around 10 a.m. and property from inside the vehicle was stolen.

Sometime before 4:30 p.m., a vehicle parked in the 4900 block of Ellensburg Drive was stolen.

19 Tuesday

Arrested around 11:30 a.m.: a 29-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from Finish Line at NorthPark Center.

20 Wednesday

A home under construction in the 5900 block of Lupton Drive was burglarized overnight before 9:07 a.m.

Arrested around 5:45 p.m.: a 25-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from Dillards at NorthPark Center.

21 Thursday

Around 10 p.m., a pair of car burglars broke into a vehicle parked in the 4800 block of Allencrest Lane.

A home in the 5200 block of Meadow Crest Drive was burglarized around noon.

A vehicle parked in the 11000 block of Preston Road was burglarized before 1 p.m.

22 Friday

Plants were stolen around 8:30 a.m. from Cristina’s Garden Center in the 4600 block of West Lovers Lane.

A vehicle parked in the 6600 block of LBJ Freeway was burglarized sometime before 7 p.m.

23 Saturday

Arrested around 5:40 p.m.: a 43-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from Nordstrom’s at NorthPark Center.

24 Sunday

Two vehicles parked in the 6800 block of Walnut Hill Lane were burglarized overnight before 9:30 a.m.

A vehicle parked in the 7000 block of Chipperton Drive was stolen sometime before 11:50 a.m. Another vehicle in the same block reported their gun was stolen from their vehicle around the same time.
