SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: PICKPOCKET AISLE

A true pickpocket was roaming around Tom Thumb in the 11000 block of Preston Road. Around 11:35 a.m., the petty thief reached into the pocket of a 79-year-old man and removed cash from his pocket. 

DALLAS

25 Monday 

A vacant residence in the 5300 block of Del Roy Drive was burglarized around 6 a.m.

Property was stolen around 8:30 a.m. from Christina’s Garden Center in the 4600 block of West Lovers Lane

Around 12:30 p.m., property was stolen from Madre Dallas in the 4700 block of West Lovers Lane

Arrested around 6 p.m.: a 48-year-old man on suspicion of shoplifting from Dillards at NorthPark Center.

27 Wednesday

Building materials from a Greico Homes job site in the 6000 block of Joyce Way were stolen sometime before 10:40 a.m.

The front license plate was stolen from a vehicle sometime before 1:36 p.m. while parked in the 6100 block of LBJ Freeway

Property was stolen around 8:40 p.m. from a home in the 6500 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

28 Thursday

Arrested: A 50-year-old woman was arrested around 5 a.m. with four pistols in her possession in the 4300 block of Glenleigh Drive

Property from Lenscrafters at NorthPark Center was stolen around 11:10 a.m.

Property from the Preston Hollow Village United Parcel Service (UPS) was stolen from a vehicle parked at the shopping center around 3:20 p.m.

Arrested around 5 p.m.: a 44-year-old man on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the 11800 block of Midway Road. The driver had two prior DWI convictions.
