Crime Reports July 2 – 8


Watching Big Brother this summer from one Dallas backyard will be darn near impossible. Sometime before 9:14 a.m., a thief welcomed himself into a fenced yard in the 4800 block of Gulfstream Drive and stole a television from a patio wall. 


2 Monday

Arrested at 1:40 p.m.: A man, age unspecified, at Inwood National Bank in the 7600 block of Inwood Road on suspicion of trying to pass a forged check.

Around 3:30 p.m., associates at Ray-Ban at NorthPark Center reported to police that merchandise was stolen. 

Property was stolen around 5:50 p.m. from an apartment parking lot in the 7200 block of Midbury Drive.

Computers and jewelry were stolen sometime before 7:31 p.m. from a home in the 5500 block of Greenbrier Drive.

3 Tuesday

A vehicle parked in the 10700 block of Preston Road was burglarized before 8:16 a.m.

5 Thursday

A vehicle parked in the 7000 block of DeLoache Avenue was stolen sometime before 10:12 a.m.

Checks were stolen from a vehicle around 1:45 p.m. while parked in the 4600 block of Pomona Road

6 Friday

Around 8:25 a.m., the hasp was pried off a 2007 MTI Trailer, owned by Builder & Installers Inc., outside of the Primrose School of Park Cities in the 4000 block of Inwood Road.

A Wolf brand stove and oven were stolen from a vacant home in the 5800 block of Fallas Road sometime before 9:35 a.m.

Stolen around 3 p.m.: property from a home in the 7100 block of Lavendale Avenue.

Around 6:20 p.m., a vehicle parked in the 7100 block of Royal Lane was burglarized.

Property was stolen around 9 p.m. from a vehicle parked at the Summertree shopping center in the 12300 block of Inwood Road.

7 Saturday

Stolen before 10:53 a.m.: merchandise from Christina’s Garden Center in the 4600 block of West Lovers Lane. The retailer also reported property stolen at 10 a.m. July 5 from their store.

Property was stolen around 11:31 a.m. from a home in the 6400 block of Brookshire Drive.

Stolen around 1:50 p.m.: property from inside a vehicle parked at Inwood Village

A vehicle parked in the 9200 block of Inwood Road was burglarized sometime before 3:43 p.m.

Merchandise was stolen around 4:10 p.m. from the Forestwood Antique Mall in the 5300 block of Forest Lane.

Arrested at 6:29 p.m.: A 30-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from Dilliard’s at NorthPark Center.

8 Sunday

Arrested at 3:40 p.m.: An 18-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from Nordstrom at NorthPark Center

Arrested at 9:17 p.m.: A man, age not specified, on suspicion of shoplifting from Nieman Marcus at NorthPark Center.
