Tell us about any nonprofit, volunteering or philanthropic work you are a part of: I’m active with the special needs community. I’ve been volunteering since 1996, and still play an active role with Autism Awareness, as well as a handful of smaller organizations.

Each month, my real estate firm volunteers in the community. Over the past 13 years, we’ve had the opportunity to serve on a monthly basis at organizations such as food kitchens, to homeless shelters. This has single-handedly changed my company’s culture, as well as the lives of the hundreds of people we impact on a daily basis.

What is the best advice you received when beginning your career? You can’t get experience…without experience. You’re never going to get every deal, but you can learn on every deal.

What is your business philosophy? Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate is a faith-based company, driven by our unique personalities, unmatched energy and relentless efforts to remain the pioneers in our industry. Our core values are: Faith, Honesty, Integrity, Discernment, Reliability, Accountability, and Consistency

What inspires you? People that lead and execute with the heart as their driving force. People that don’t waiver. People that believe. People that aren’t afraid to grind.

What is your proudest career accomplishment and why? 1. RHA has been named the #1 place to work by both the Dallas Morning News and the Dallas Business Journal. 2. We eclipsed the $1,000,000,000 sales mark a few years ago. That blew my mind!

What did you learn best from your best boss or mentor? My dad is the best man I know. His selfless approach to every aspect of his life has lead to his success, which has nothing to do with finances. He’s always put Jesus first, and his family second-which is why my sister and I never went hungry–and not just for food. In 1995, my parents decided to move us to the Park Cities…from South Texas, just so we could attend the schools. True story.
To me, a mentor is someone you want to be like because you have the opportunity to be like them. I’ve wanted to be my dad for my entire life, and I’ll always chase that dream. I learned that money is just something, it’s not everything. I learned that the Lord will keep you humble, even if you don’t want to be humble. I learned that loving your family, no matter what is the only choice. Real estate is what I do, but it’s not what I am.

What do you love about your community? I’ve moved every three years since getting into real estate. I wanted to learn all the areas that RHA focuses on. Here’s what I’ve learned-THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THE PARK CITIES.
NOTHING.
The people are caring. The area is safe. The streets are paved. It smells good. The shopping is unparalleled. The opportunity for growth is at your fingertips. I call the Park Cities home and I always will. People don’t understand the Park Cities until they leave it…and I can speak from experience. A community is a place you go to feel safe, in every sense of the word, and there is NO match for the Park Cities.

What is your fondest Park Cities or Preston Hollow memory? Selling my sister and her family their first home in the Park Cities. When all my worlds collided…for the better.

Where will we find you enjoying your hard-earned time off? I do Crossfit every day, and I go to my ranch in Lindale (East Texas) every weekend.

What do you want your last meal to be? 100 scoops of Pistachio custard from Wild About Harry’s…and a grilled cheese my dad made.

What is your favorite color? Blue

If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would you choose and why? Shark Tank-so I can be realistic with them, from someone that doesn’t have a business background.

What would your superpower be and why? I’d want the patience of Job.
