SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: FREE CAR

A spare tire is great to keep in the car. A spare key … not so much. Sometime before midnight Sept. 23, that set of keys was all a thief needed to steal a vehicle parked in the 6800 block of Bandera Avenue.

DALLAS

17 Monday

A vehicle parked in the 5100 block of Kelsey Road was burglarized sometime before 10:36 a.m.

18 Tuesday

Stolen before 7:12 a.m.: the tailgate from a 2015 Ford F-250 parked overnight in the 5100 block of Stonegate Road.

19 Wednesday

Stolen before 5:24 a.m.: property from a vehicle parked overnight in the 4200 block of Merrell Road.

Two vehicles parked overnight in the 4400 block of Walnut Hill Lane were ransacked sometime before 8:43 a.m.

Arrested 6:10 p.m.:  a 19-year-old man suspected of shoplifting from Neiman Marcus at NorthPark Center.

Smashed before 7:11 p.m.: the window of a vehicle parked at Cooper Clinic in the 12200 block of Preston Road.

20 Thursday

Smashed before 8 a.m.: the window of a vehicle parked outside Primrose School of Preston Hollow in the 10700 block of Preston Road.

A vehicle parked overnight in the 5000 block of Tanbark Road was stolen sometime before 8:42 a.m.

Property was stolen sometime before 11:05 a.m. from a home in the 4600 block of Bluffview Boulevard.

Sometime before 7:20 p.m., a vehicle was stolen while parked in the 7700 block of West Greenway Boulevard.

Around 9:20 p.m., a home in the 4700 block of Mill Run Road was burglarized.

A vehicle parked outside of Starbucks in the 8400 block of Preston Road was burglarized around 11:30 p.m.

A 47-year-old woman was pushed to the ground around 11:58 p.m. at Inwood Tavern in the 7700 block of Inwood Road.

21 Friday

A vehicle parked in the 5400 block of Park Lane was burglarized sometime before 7:45 p.m.

Around 3 p.m., a vehicle parked at Inwood Village was burglarized.

22 Saturday

Burglarized before 8:08 a.m.: Insight Complete Eyecare in the 8600 block of Hillcrest Road.

A vehicle parked in the 6100 block of Joyce Way was burglarized sometime during the day. The owner reported the incident to police around 5:10 p.m. Sept. 24.

Three people stole merchandise from Macy’s at NorthPark Center around 8:30 p.m.

23 Sunday

Sometime before 11:36 a.m., a vehicle parked overnight in the 8600 block of Thackery Street was burglarized.
