Crime Reports Oct. 8 – 14

SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: SATURDAY NIGHT BLUES

We all know Saturday night television isn’t the best, but it’s no excuse to steal books and videos. Around 5 p.m. Oct. 13, the source of entertainment was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8500 block of Midway Road.

 

DALLAS

8 Monday

Merchandise was stolen around 4:30 p.m. from the AT&T store at the Preston Royal shopping center.

Stolen around 9 p.m.: merchandise from Macy’s at NorthPark Center.

9 Tuesday

Stolen before 6:11 a.m.: a vehicle parked overnight in the 4700 block of Wildwood Road.

Around 3 p.m., a customer at Cornerstone Animal Clinic in the 11900 block of Preston Road bought merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill.

Around 7 p.m., a resident in the 7700 block of Greenway Boulevard reported his apartment had been burglarized.

10 Wednesday

Stolen before 9:30 a.m.: property from a vehicle parked overnight in the 6300 block of Northwood Road.

Around 2 p.m., merchandise was stolen from the AT&T Store at the Preston Royal shopping center.

Arrested around 2:50 p.m.: a 51-year-old woman suspected of shoplifting from Dilliard’s at NorthPark Center.

Sometime before 5:10 p.m., a home in the 4400 block of Bonham Street was burglarized.

11 Thursday

Around 6 a.m., the front door of ClothesHorse Anonymous in Preston Forest Village was pried open and merchandise was stolen.

Around 5:10 p.m., a customer at iFix Phone Repair in the 5900 block of Forest Lane took his or her phone from the store after it was repaired without paying for the work done.

Sometime before 5:45 p.m., merchandise was stolen from the Verizon Wireless store in the 5900 block of Northwest Highway.

Medication from a 32-year-old man’s backpack was stolen around 6:45 p.m. at Preston Forest Village.

12 Friday

A 43-year-old man was assaulted around 1 a.m. in the 6300 block of Park Lane.

Stolen before 7:30 a.m.: a vehicle parked overnight in the 5800 block of Boca Raton Driver.

Around 10:48 a.m., a vehicle was stolen from the 7200 block of Azalea Lane.

Property was stolen around 3:35 p.m. from a vehicle parked in the 7000 block of Orchid Lane.

13 Saturday

Just before 9 a.m., police were dispatched to Gucci at NorthPark Center regarding a shoplifting incident.

Around 9:30 a.m., merchandise was stolen from Ulta at Preston Forest Village.

A vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Lovers Lane was burglarized around 11:30 p.m.

Sometime before noon, the tires and rims were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of West Northwest Highway.

A vehicle parked in the 8700 block of Rexford Drive was stolen around 2:45 p.m.

14 Sunday

Stolen before 10:36 a.m.: property from a vehicle parked overnight in the 11100 block of Eastview Circle.

Property was stolen from a vehicle around noon while parked in the 3800 block of West Northwest Highway.

Around 6 p.m., merchandise was reported stolen from the Gap at Inwood Village.
