SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: GIRD YOUR BAG

Ladies hold on to your purses when shopping at the Tom Thumb in the 7100 block of Inwood Road. Or follow this nifty tip from this Walmart shopper (see photo) and strap that baby in. On both Oct. 16 (1:15 p.m.) and Oct. 18 (2:20 p.m.) two separate customers reported their belongings were stolen from their shopping carts.

DALLAS

15 Monday

Sometime before 8:35 a.m., the Stop and Shop convenience store in the 5300 block of Lemmon Avenue was burglarized.

Stolen before 10:40 a.m.: a vehicle from a home in the 5800 block of Meaders Lane.

Arrested at 8:07 p.m.: a 43-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from Dilliard’s at NorthPark Center.

16 Tuesday

Stolen before 9:48 a.m.: property from inside a 2016 Cadillac parked in the 11300 block of Hillcrest Road.

Around 9 p.m., a vehicle was burglarized in the 5000 block of Harvest Hill Road.

Arrested at 10:28 p.m.: a 27-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence at Preston Hollow Village.

18 Thursday

A 46-year-old and a 36-year-old woman were arrested around 10:15 a.m. on suspicion of disorderly conduct for using abusive language at the Hilton Dallas Park Cities hotel.

A homeowner in the 6600 block of Deloache Avenue reported at 3:50 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized the prior day.

19 Friday

Stolen before 8:22 a.m.: the rims and tires off of a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali parked in the 7700 block of West Greenway Boulevard.

Arrested at 10:33 a.m.: a 30-year-old man on suspicion of shoplifting from Gucci at NorthPark Center.

The gates of a home in the 5300 block of Park Home were locked sometime before 11:40 a.m., preventing the exit of the homeowner.

20 Saturday

Stolen before 4:45 a.m.: a vehicle parked at the Preston Valley Shopping Center.

21 Sunday

A resident in the 7200 block of Inwood Road reported to police around 10:45 a.m. that his home had been burglarized the prior day.

Around 4:05 p.m., merchandise was stolen from Macy’s at NorthPark Center.
