Crime Reports Nov. 19 – 25


Walking into a bank and yelling “This is a robbery,” is never a good idea. But that’s just what someone did around 9:15 a.m. Nov. 21 at the North Dallas Bank and Trust in the 12900 block of Preston Road. No arrest was made.


19 Monday

Property was stolen around 9:45 a.m. from a vehicle parked at Preston Royal Village.

Rolls of electric wiring were stolen around 5:50 p.m. from an Intercities Electric construction site in the 3900 block of West Northwest Highway.

20 Tuesday

A 47-year-old Lewisville man told police that around 7:25 a.m. someone pointed a gun at him while in the 6300 block of LBJ.

Property was stolen around 11:50 a.m. from an open garage in the 4700 block of Twin Post Road.

Arrested at 7:32 p.m.: a 55-year-old man suspected of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center.

21 Wednesday

A 26-year-old man was bitten by a pitbull around 8:20 a.m. at a park in the 8700 block of Rexford Drive.

The rear window of a vehicle parked at Preston Hollow Village was broken sometime before 7:30 p.m.

22 Thursday

Arrested at 12:47 a.m.: a 21-year-old man suspected of public intoxication – police say he was unable to stand or talk – at a 7-Eleven in the 6800 block of West Northwest Highway.

Sometime before 8:40 a.m., the Team Sports & Performance Apparel store at Forestwood Shopping Center was burglarized.

Sometime before 7:55 p.m., a vehicle was burglarized while parked in the 6900 block of Waggoner Place.

23 Friday

Property was stolen before 7:40 a.m. from a vehicle parked overnight in the 4900 block of Thunder Road, as well as a vehicle in the 4800 block of Thunder Road.

Arrested at 12:55 p.m.: a 22-year-old man suspected of shoplifting from Dilliard’s at NorthPark Center.

A vehicle was stolen around 7:53 p.m. while parked in the 10500 block of Egret Lane.

24 Saturday

Arrested at 12:20 a.m.: a 59-year-old woman suspected of being under the influence in the 8700 block of Canyon Drive.

25 Sunday

Stolen before 8 a.m.: a vehicle parked overnight in the 4600 block of Northaven Road.

A business at Preston Royal Office Park in the 5900 block of Royal Lane was burglarized sometime before 12:43 p.m.

Merchandise was stolen around 5 p.m from The Gap located in Preston Oaks shopping center.
