Crime Reports June 3 – June 9

SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: ON FLEEK

The struggle to keep up that “shoe game” is real, at least for this couple. Around 12:37 p.m. June 4, a 28-year-old man and a 29-year old woman “shopping” at Finish Line Sports at NorthPark Center were both arrested for shoplifting.

 

DALLAS

3 Monday

An injury was sustained when a person fell at 7:19 p.m. at the 11700 block of Pine Forest Drive.

Property was stolen from Gap at Preston Oaks Shopping Center at 9:43 p.m.

4 Tuesday

Reported at 1:12 p.m.: A window on a car parked at the Hilton on Luther Lane was broken

Reported at 2:27 p.m.: The passenger side window of a car parked at the Tom Thumb on Inwood Road was broken and property from inside was stolen.

Reported at 6:41 p.m.: The rear window of a vehicle parked at NorthPark Center was smashed and property stolen from inside.

Reported at 7:34 p.m.: A vehicle parked at the 11000 block of Midway Road was broken into and property stolen.

5 Wednesday

A traffic violation was reported at Pet Smart on Inwood Road at 12:05 a.m.

Reported at 11:46 a.m.: Property was stolen from Louis Vuitton at NorthPark Center.

Reported at 12:37 p.m.: Property was stolen from Shinola at NorthPark Center on June 4.

Reported at 3:44 p.m.: A gun was stolen from a vehicle parked at the 6400 block of Norway Drive. The gun was stolen by someone reportedly wearing a red shirt and white shorts.

Reported at 9:19 p.m.: A car parked at Southwest Airlines on Boaz Street had its windows broken and property stolen from inside.

6 Thursday

Sometime after midnight, a vehicle was stolen from the 6600 block of Desco Drive.

Prescription fraud occurred sometime after midnight at Walgreens on Northwest Highway.

Reported at 8:54 a.m.: A purse was stolen from a shopper at Preston Forest Center.

Reported at 12:26 p.m.: A phone was taken from Gary D. Salon at Preston Royal Center.

Reported at 4:34 p.m.: A laptop and charger were stolen from Top Golf on North Central Expressway on June 4.

Reported at 8:16 p.m.: A vehicle parked in a private area at NorthPark Center was struck by another vehicle.

7 Friday

Reported at 2:02 a.m.: A victim was grabbed by the arm and hair in the 4700 block of Stanford Avenue on June 6.

A child was taken at 8:21 a.m. from the 5800 block of Forest Lane. The case was resolved later that day.

Reported at 11:52 a.m.: Glass on the back door of a home at the 5600 block of Amherst Drive was broken in order to gain entry on June 3, and property was stolen.

Reported at 3:33 p.m.: A vehicle, the attached trailer, and more property was stolen from the 9200 block of Sunnybrook Lane.

Reported at 4:18 p.m.: An unknown tool was used to enter a vehicle parked at NorthPark Center. Property was then stolen from inside.

Reported at 8:41 p.m.: Property was stolen on June 5 from the 8100 block of Inwood Drive.

8 Saturday

Property was stolen from Ulta at Preston Forest Center sometime after midnight.

9 Sunday

Reported at 11:10 a.m.: Inappropriate body photos were mailed to the 7000 block of Azalea Lane on June 7.

Reported at 6:58 p.m.: The window of a car parked at NorthPark Center was smashed, and property was stolen from inside.
