Crime Reports June 17 – 23

SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: MEGA-MILLIONS? 

Reported at 2:42 a.m on June 22.: Lottery tickets were stolen from the Texico at the intersection of Preston Road and Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway on June 21. No word on whether any of the tickets were winners. 

DALLAS

17 Monday

A vehicle parked at a home in the 4300 block of Woodin Drive had its window broken and property stolen from inside at 8:28 p.m. 

18 Tuesday

Reported at 8:20 a.m.: A vehicle parked at a home in the 5000 block of Thunder Road was forced into on June 17. 

Criminal trespassing was reported at 3:27 p.m. at NorthPark Center

Two different shoplifting incidents were reported on the same day from Ulta Beauty at Inwood Village: Merchandise thefts were reported at 3:33 and 4:22 p.m.

19 Wednesday

Reported at 8:42 a.m.: The window on the door of Smoothie King on Lovers Lane was broken, and property was stolen.

Arrested at 3:09 p.m.: a 17-year-old girl accused of shoplifting from Victoria’s Secret at NorthPark Center.

Six fraudulent forms of identification were used at 5:38 p.m. at NorthPark Center. 

Arrested at 5:38 p.m.: a 29-year-old man accused of possession of a fraudulent government at NorthPark Center. 

A vehicle parked at AT&T at Preston Royal Village was broken into through the back window and a backpack was stolen at 7:29 p.m.

Reported at 11:25 p.m.: A vehicle parked at the 12100 block of Preston Road was broken into and property stolen. 

Reported at 12:10 p.m.: A vehicle, trailer, and other property was stolen from the 6000 block of Northaven Road on June 17. 

20 Thursday

Sometime after midnight, a theft occurred at the 9100 block of Villa Circle Drive. 

A vehicle parked at the 5500 block of Meaders Lane was damaged, broken into, and stolen at 7:28 a.m.

Reported at 7:56 a.m.: A vehicle parked at an apartment complex at the 3800 block of Northwest Highway was broken into, and property was stolen.

Reported at 12:44 p.m.: A vehicle parked and locked at the 8500 block of Preston Road was broken into, and property stolen, on June 19.

Windows on a vehicle parked at Preston Forest Village were broken and property was stolen from inside at 9 p.m. 

Reported at 10:31 p.m.: A vehicle was abandoned in the center lane near the 8500 block of Preston Road. 

21 Friday

Sometime after midnight, a theft occurred at an apartment complex at the 6800 block of Bandera Avenue. 

Arrested at 10:07 a.m.: a 23-year-old man accused of writing counterfeit checks at Regions Bank at Preston Center on June 20. 

A 65-year-old woman had a cash bag stolen from her at 12:37 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ – Latter Day Saints on Willow Lane

Also at 12:37 p.m.: A 57-year-old woman reported that her credit card was used fraudulently at the 4400 block of Pomona Road.

Reported at 11:59 a.m.: A burglar entered home in the 4300 block of Bonham Street on June 20 by unknown means and took property. 

Arrested at 5:26 p.m.: a 20-year-old man accused of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center. The man also was given a criminal trespass warning. 

A forgery investigation for a case on June 20 occurred at 6:50 p.m. on June 21 at HCB Junior Management on Douglas Avenue at Preston Center.

A plate-wielding attacker seriously injured at 32-year-old man at a restaurant in Preston Royal Village.

Reported at 9:52 p.m.: Property was stolen from Ulta Beauty at Preston Forest Village on June 20. 

Money was stolen, using force, from a 67-year-old man at Domino’s Pizza on Sherry Lane at 11:18 p.m. 

Arrested at 11:26 p.m.: a 19-year-old woman accused of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center. She also had an arrest warrant out of Mesquite. 

22 Saturday

Sometime after midnight, a vehicle parked in the 8600 block of Hillcrest Road was broken into and property was stolen.

Sometime after midnight, a theft occurred at a condominium complex at the 8600 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard. 

A criminal trespass warning was issued at 10:13 a.m. at a public storage facility in the 3500 block of Inwood Road. 

Reported at 1:13 p.m.: a damaged tail light in the parking lot of a hotel in the 19000 block of Preston Road on June 21. 

Reported at 4:27 p.m.: A vehicle was stolen on June 21 outside a home in the 5300 block of Montrose Drive. 

23 Sunday

Reported at 5:39 p.m.: Property was stolen from a home at the 6200 block of Turner Way on June 17. 

Reported at 6:14 p.m.: Property was stolen from Sephora at Preston Royal Village.
