Crime Reports June 24 – 30

SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: CAN’T MOW THIS

Yard work is going to have to wait for one individual: A truck, with an attached trailer containing lawn equipment, was stolen from the 5500 block of Preston Haven Drive sometime on June 27.

DALLAS

24 Monday

Sometime after midnight, a theft at Saint Laurent at NorthPark Center was reported.

Reported at 4:40 p.m.: A Plano man’s vehicle was stolen at a home in the 6000 block of Orchid Lane.

Reported at 8:35 p.m.: Property was stolen from a Farmersville man’s unlocked vehicle while parked in the 4300 block of Ridge Road.

It was a troubling day at the Cuddly Kids Daycare on Lovers Lane. A 62-year-old woman there reported her vehicle stolen at 6:50 p.m. and then at 11:12 p.m. reported that someone kicked in the daycare door, causing damage to the door frame.

25 Tuesday 

Sometime after midnight, a theft was reported from a parking lot at the 3800 block of Northwest Highway. 

Sometime after midnight, a theft was reported at a home in the 6500 block of Chevy Chase Avenue.

Reported at 12:29: a hit-and-run in the 6000 block of Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway.

It was a rough day for a 29-year-old woman at a home in the 6400 block of Tulip Lane: She reported her vehicle stolen at 3:09 p.m. and other property stolen at 6:45 p.m.

26 Wednesday

Sometime after midnight: Theft was reported from the Embassy Suites on Northwest Highway. 

Sometime after midnight: Theft was reported from the 6000 block of Royal Crest Drive. 

Arrested at 12:50 a.m.: a 36-year-old man accused of public intoxication in the 6800 block of Lupton Drive.

Reported at 7:37 a.m.: A vehicle was stolen from the 5500 block of Emerson Avenue sometime on June 25.

Reported at 12:37 p.m.: A motor vehicle was stolen from a home in the 5200 block of Del Roy Drive.

Reported at at 5:55 p.m.: Shoplifting from Walgreens at Northwest Highway and Lemmon Avenue.

Women’s perfume was stolen from Sephora at Preston Royal Village at 7:38 p.m.

Shoplifting was reported from Ulta Beauty at Preston Forest Village at 10:06 p.m.

27 Thursday

Reported at 5:12 p.m.: A purse belonging to a Hockaday School employee was stolen from inside a vehicle parked in the 5400 block of Lobello Drive. 

28 Friday

Arrested at 2:17 p.m.: a 27-year-old woman accused of shoplifting from Macy’s at NorthPark Center.

Reported at 3:58 p.m.: A vehicle, with an attached lawn trailer, was reported stolen on June 27 from the 5500 block of Preston Haven Drive.

A 46-year-old woman reported at 6:36 p.m. that her vehicle had been hit at NorthPark Center by a vehicle that left without its driver exchanging information.

Reported at 8:27 p.m.: A burglary smashed the window of a vehicle at Preston Royal Village and stole some of its contents.

Reported at 9:37 p.m.: A vehicle parked at NorthPark Center was broken into, and items were stolen.

29 Saturday

A theft occurred sometime after midnight at the Semones Family YMCA on Northaven Road.

Reported at at 4:59 p.m.: a 22-year-old woman received a threatening telephone call at Arepa TX in Preston Royal Southwest

A 31-year-old man, while receiving a criminal trespassing warning at 7:41 p.m. at NorthPark Center, attempted to flee as the officer was taking his information.

30 Sunday

A criminal trespass warning was issued at 12:06 p.m. at Chipotle at The Market at Preston Forest.

Reported at 12:45 p.m.: A vehicle backed into another vehicle in a parking lot at the 5400 block of Lyndon B. Johnson sometime on June 29.

Reported at 4:05 p.m.: A vehicle parked at NorthPark Center was broken into, and property was stolen.

Reported at 4:08 p.m.: Shoplifters took cologne from Ulta at Preston Forest Village.

Reported at 5:43 p.m.: Property was stolen on June 29 from an unlocked vehicle parked at the 8600 block of Edgemere Road.
