The model mixed-use development just east of 75 will add five new tenants to its burgeoning roster by the end of the year: F45 Training, Hello Dumpling, Kibble Pet Grooming, Pop Factory and, Shine Hot Pilates+Sculpt.

Located 8041 Walnut Hill Lane, the North Dallas shopping center is already home to a laundry list of eateries and shops such as Boardroom Salon for Men, Snooze, and Emler Swim School.

Here is what we know about the new additions:

Move over Crossfit, here comes F45 – F45 Training is a global fitness community specializing in innovative, high-intensity group workouts that are said to be fast, fun, and proven to get rapid result for members. The gym, which was founded in Australia and is growing rapidly in the U.S.  already has locations in the Bishop Arts Districts, Dallas Main Street, Old East Dallas, and other locations that may or may not be worth a drive. According to an Elle Magazine article, the cardio classes famous for burning 900-1000 calories are filled with “45-minutes of Russian twists, ball slams, jumping jacks, lateral dips, mountain climbers, battle ropes, weighted burpees, rowers, TRX and one-legged pistol squats, likely collapsing into a heap towards the end.” According to the F45 website, they also are opening a location in White Rock East. A low-key treat in East Dallas, Hello Dumpling is set to open its second location at The Hill in October, right next to Sushi de Handroll, Bellagreen, and Pokéworks. A family-owned restaurant that specializes in fresh dumplings, noodles, and brewed bubble teas, Hello Dumpling was tagged one of the most interesting restaurants when it first opened in 2017. The food is said to be inspired by co-owner June Chow’s travels back home to northern China where her mother grew up. The new restaurant at The Hill is expected to have a near-identical menu as its East Dallas location, including Chow’s rice dumplings. <

Named the Best of Dallas, the Preston Center luxury pet care brand will soon also call The Hill home. Kibble Pet Grooming offers a variety of grooming services and accessories for man’s best friend and believes dogs equally deserve the opportunity to look and smell great. According to their website, unlimited basic bath and blowout memberships are $100 for dogs of all sizes and other memberships include twice a month hair maintenance and “super” hair maintenance.

Artisanal popsicles are no longer the new thing. They are the “in” thing right now, or at least that is what Pop Factory says on its website. Made with 100% all-natural ingredients (whole fruit), the frozen fruit bars were said to be born out of tradition and culture. “We took the Mexican-style paletas naturales or natural frozen fruit bars of our childhood and have expanded our menu with creative and fun flavors.” As a bonus, the fruit bars are made fresh daily in the pop factory for everyone to see. If you can’t wait to try this, Pop Factory has a location in West Village and at Toyota Music Factory in Las Colinas.

Shine Hot Pilates + Sculpt is a boutique fitness studio that features hot mat pilates, hot sculpt and more.

Other previously announced tenants that are also set to open at The Hill in 2019 include Greek and Italian restaurant Casa Verona and Hiatus Spa+Retreat.
