Hand Rolls for Haiti
March 26 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm$100
After taking an eye-opening trip to Haiti with Kore Timoun—The Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti—Namo’s founder, Brandon Cohanim, has held a special place in his heart for the children of Haiti.
With over two million Haitians living in poverty, this means one in three children face long-term effects of malnourishment. This nutrition program empowers mothers to break the cycle of malnutrition among their children by educating them on how to better feed their families. These women become leaders and teachers within their communities, creating a culture valuing health and nutrition.
Bringing a taste of Haiti to Dallas in support of its children, Namo is hosting Hand Rolls for Haiti. The eight-course charity dinner will incorporate Haitian flavors (from recipes Brandon brought back with him) into Namo’s Japanese hand rolls, merging two distinct cuisines into one unique flavor. All proceeds from dinner will be donated to Kore Timoun, The Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti.
