ESD Athletes Heading to College

There will be plenty of ESD alumni appearing as freshmen on college athletic rosters next season.

The school recently held a ceremony to recognize 17 graduating seniors — or about one-sixth of its entire senior class — for commitments and scholarship offers to various colleges.

Each honoree was greeted with a pennant, their college fight song, and a hearty cheer upon taking the auditorium stage. The college-bound athletes include:

  • Adam Bland (baseball), Hendrix College
  • Scott Bower (lacrosse), Virginia
  • Jay Browne (lacrosse), Stanford
  • Keller Casey (basketball), Oklahoma
  • Caroline Cheetham (lacrosse), USC
  • Sriya Dodda (crew), Columbia
  • Elliot Duessel (crew), Colgate
  • Katelin Gildersleeve (crew), Stanford
  • Cameron Goldstein (tennis), St. Edward’s
  • Danny Kung (lacrosse), Washington and Lee
  • Lauren Marks (soccer), Yale
  • Bryce Miltenberger (crew), Hobart and William Smith
  • Gianna Pope (lacrosse), Cincinnati
